Grass Peas from Sicily

Grass peas are a legume that have long been forgotten. Unjustly, because besides having a high resistance to arid climates, it has important nutritional values. Hulling removes the outer part of the seed and facilitates cooking. We cultivate it as part of a crop rotation alongside ancient grain. In this way, we manage to regenerate and enrich the soil with nitrogen without other external supplements.
