Sicilian Pistachio Cream
100% Pistachio
This cream is made exclusively from Sicilian organic pistachios. The fields cover about four hectares and are located in the Agrigento area of Sicily, a few kilometres from the southern coast, in San Biagio Platani.
Extra care is taken when the pistachios are harvested in early September. During this period, new buds have already formed next to the ripe fruits. To prevent damage, Filippo Bongiovanni and his family (farmers for three generations) do the harvesting carefully by hand, ensuring the ripe clusters fall gently. When the pistachios arrive at our workshop, we simply shell, blend and pot them, fully capturing their distinctive aroma.
